SELECTION OF THE ARTIST OF THE MONTH

The board of Artists O is choosing the Artist of the Month. Applications must be sent to the board by 31.10. for the following spring period and 30.4. for the autumn period.

Address: Artists O, Unioninkatu 26, 00130 Helsinki. Write also ³the Artist of the Month² on the envelope. By e-mail: verkkogalleria(at)artists-o.fi (replace (at) with @ when sending e-mail)

Documents needed in the application:

• Pictures of the works he/she wants to be shown in the internet gallery or a link to the artist¹s web pages if they introduce a large quantity of works.
• CV
• Artist¹s statement ­ written description of the ideas behind the works
• The month that the artist likes to be introduced and the reason for it

After the applicant is chosen to be the Artist of the Month he/she has to deliver the following documents:

• Good quality pictures of 6-10 works
• Description of the works: name, year, materials and any other specifications needed
• Shortened CV, 1 A4
• Artist¹s statement ­ a written description of the ideas behind the works. It can also be a short article written by e.g. an art critic or a journalist

The Internet gallery of Artists O presents an interesting group of artists working on applied arts. The press is informed about the Artist of the Month.
